Back then, the slide was queen. But his reign will end with the arrival of digital technology after 2000.

Former journalist and photographer, now retired, I am from the city of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, in the Var (83). Proud of my 50 years of career, I had the opportunity to travel internationally, and capture moments of life as much in France, as in Europe, Asia, South America, but also in Oceania.
From 1970 to 2000, I archived more than 100,000 photos of my travels, Provence and more specifically, my hometown, Roquebrune, and its surroundings. These photographs are the result of a passion and a photographic heritage that I wish to revive through this site. To revive rare and unknown archives of the general public.
My photos are also displayed in the historic Abbe house in Roquebrune, which has been in the family for 4 generations. This house of the XVIe century, three-storey, houses in these places ♪ I'm crazy ♪ (atelier of the fountain), where images and paintings of Provence are exhibited. These paintings are signed Patricia Gourier, artist-painting, who chose our workshop for artistic residence.
