House address and GPS coordinates

The address is: 2 rue de l ́église 83520 Roquebrune sur Argens, France

GPS: 43.44327° N, 6.63721° E

The house is in the middle of the old part of the village. It is a pedestrian area. There are few car parking spaces that get free during the weekdays when people go to work. Personally, the walk from the Parking Castrum through the old village is a delight!

When you first arrive in Roquebrune

When you first get to Roquebrune on Argens, stop the car:

then walk to the house to pick up the BLACK removes that opens the gate (should on the table or on the tiny table underneath the lamp on the right when you go in).

To open the gate, secure your car is very close to the gate (there is a sensor).

Drop-off your suggestion then park the car.

Still no electricity?

The electricity meter needs reset. Exit the house, turn right and right again. The meter is behind the door on the right of the neighbors stairs. Press the button to reset the meter.

Hot water

On the Hager box (see picture above), the most right switch has 3 positions:

  • Top: on all the time (convenient but not so good for the electricity bill and the planet)
  • Middle: on every night, that
  • Bottom: off

Bed sizes and bed sheets

When you arrive, beds sheets should be on the beds worst case, but beds should be generally ready made, with bed sheets fitted.

The bed sizes are the following:

  1. Ground floor: 160×200
  2. First floor: 140×190
  3. Second floor: 120×190 and 140×190

Please:

  • Use our bed sheets, there should be plenty
  • Leave the stock of bed sheets and towels that we have in the room facing the toilet
  • If you need extra, ask me!

At the end of your stay

Cleaning

As you know, this is not Airbnb or equivalent. We are leaving the house in your good hands.

The house should be left in the same state as you found it.

There should be vacuum cleaners (cupboard to the left of the entrance door and at the top of the stairs), cleaning kits in the kitchen and in the bathroom (underneath the basin).

Bed sheets

Please take off the sheets used and put them in special bags.

For convenience (weight especially), please use several bags and one bag for the towels and mat in the bathroom...

Leading the house

Please confirm your departure time.

Put the key back in the box.

Nothing is needed to exit the street with your car.

The house

• Bins: at this stage, bins are at the entrance on the left. The standard binuses bin bags. Recycling bin is just a bag. Please take them to the wider bins behind the Post Office

How to use the multifunction microwave oven

Don

It is probably easier to fly an Airbus than the Whirlpool AMW730IX.

One magic button can save your life:

Whirlpool Multifunction Microwave Front Panel

Button 6: press firmly to start the microwave immediately then adjust the time with wheel 5.

Brave people can read the instruction manual in French or the instruction manual in English. Good lucky!

Living room and downstairs bedroom

• Dishes, cups, cups, mugs... : in the wooden cupboard (a few essentials stay in the kitchen in the cupboard high up by the window)

• TV: the TV is in the ground-floor bedroom next to the dining room; if you want to move the TV, go ahead. Just put it back where it was before you left the house. The TV is not connected to an event. But you can connect it to a computer via HMDI (VGA is also possible but there is no cable).

Valid

For security reasons, everything in the house is replaceable. All pictures and paintings are copies. So the only important thing to do is to hide your worth something in the house when you are away just in case: passport or ID card, money, etc.

Bed sheets, pills, blanks, towels

So proud to welcome you in Linvosges bedsheets. My Mum was born in the Vosges, so it is an attention to her.

All were new in 2021 when the house was reopened. A professional cleaning service is taking care of them.

If you need more, they are all stored in the bathroom utility room. Please tell us, so that we can anticipate and ensure we have enough for the next visitors.

If you want to be super cool 😎: please TELL US AS SOON AS YOU SEE A SPOT OR DIRT ON SHEETS OR TOWERS. PLEASE KEEP ALL SHEETS, PILLOWS, BLANKETS AND TOWELS INSIDE THE HOUSE FOR HYGIENE RESASONS. If you need towels for the beach, the river, the lake, the closed place to buy towels is Intermarché (reduced selection) or Carrefour.
