The beautiful adventure...

It's over! When we wrote No. 1 – in January 2021 – we were far from imagining that three years later, the weekly « Passadoc Gazette » would always be offered to readers... Even if we hoped!

Today, we stop rotating and move on.

A big thank you to all those who read us, who accompanied us along the way by sending their texts and photos. Well... Maybe!

During these years of « Gazette« I had the pleasure of introducing women and men from the countries of Oc, being distinguished by the quality or originality of their work.

I lost sight of some of them, I look forward to finding others. I hope to see Joan Peire de Bousquier, from the Varacho valley (Varaita in Italian), a great connoisseur of the music and dances of the Occitan valleys of Italy. Perhaps I will have the opportunity to talk about him again in our next publications.

Oc's radios

There is a 30% reduction in radio expression support funds. I confess to ignoring the problem. Radios broadcasting in so-called regional languages would be at risk.

I often listen to the Provencal show by our friend Bernard Vaton « As ben parlat, may... of which dich? » (You spoke well... But what did you say?).

I photographed it in 1983 at Radio Garance. He knows the radio. Visit the IEO 84 website!

Sometimes I take part in a Radio Lenga show when I'm in Montpellier. My Provencal is understood by everyone.

Radios are essential tools for learning and transmitting the language of Oc. It would be very hard if they were to reduce their activity or disappear.
